INTRODUCING GILBERT..

.. Gilbert the Ghost! My first digistamp. He is a very friendly ghost, and there is a companion text stamp to go with him... "Christmas Spirit", in my own writing.

I don't know if there are any 'special' or 'official' ways of making a digistamp.. I just drew him, scanned him and cleaned him up a bit in Photoshop. Same with the text stamp. They are meant to be a bit 'sketchy' in appearance. That's the nature of the beast. I hope you like them.

Once your payment has been received, and you have sent me your email address, I will email your stamps to you as jpegs (with the copyright watermark removed).

I am currently running a draw on Craftling's Cosy Corner, HERE, which will be drawn on Friday 20th November. There are also some card ideas on there for how handsome he can look with a bit of colour, but if you can't wait to see if you've won the draw, you can purchase Gilbert and the text stamp here.

Price: £1.00 each, or £1.50 for combined purchase
P&P: FREE

Please see sidebar for how to make your payment.

Thank you.

Make Your Own Handcrafted Fridge Magnets

For a simple kit comprising a sturdy mount board with magnets, and an ATC-sized front card for your design, please see my Ebay listings, HERE.

Their uses are endless.. As well as prettying up your kitchen and the numerous gift opportunities they would serve, they would make really useful invitations.. for parties, weddings, you name it. How handy would it be to have your Save The Date card right there on the fridge?

Great idea for entertaining children for at least one afternoon of the holidays! Better still, why not have a fridge magnet-making party?

I make the blanks up by hand, and sell them at 50p each. The minimum kit pack on Ebay is for 2 magnets, but if you're interested, let me know how many you'd like and I'll make up a pack to suit your requirements.

I accept postal orders from UK residents, and Paypal payments from anywhere (and if I knew how to add a Paypal widget here, I would! If you know, would you tell me, please?)

Many thanks for looking.

More Fridge Art

These top three were made to illustrate my Ebay listing for the 'Make Your Own Fridge Magnets' kit I have put together, which comprises a sturdy mount board platform, with magnets, and an ATC-size front card (supplied separately, as it's easier to decorate and then stick it to the mount when the design is complete).

It occurred to me what a great craft activity this would be for children on a rainy day during the summer break. (Will make a separate post about the DIY kits. This one is for the completed magnets, and I thought these would make cute gifts, even though they were made by a 50-something-year-old! lol)

They are made using wax crayons and a touch of glitter. The 'Daddy' one includes some stars which have been hand drawn on separate card, cut out and stuck down just in the centre to give the points of the stars a bit of lift. Have also used brads in three of the corners.

This one is fairly self-explanatory, except that I got a neater finish on the windows and door by cutting out tiny squares of white card and sticking them on, and the door was coloured separately and stuck on. I'm thinking a gate at the bottom of the garden path would have worked well, and maybe a couple of 'birds' in the sky.

This is my favourite. Very simple and sweet.
The fidge magnets above are priced at £1.25 each + £1.25 p&p
The next one is a more complex design, and more 3D, so priced at £3.50 + £1.25 p&p.

Many thanks for looking.

A New Idea... Fridge Art!

A little bit of research has shown me that this is a new idea.. at least, I think it is! Not the fridge magnet part, but the handcrafted part...

This is my first. It is basically an ATC with magnets on the back, although it does have its own special secret backing which makes it sturdy and up to the job.

It is a luxury item, completely unique, and would add a touch of pretty shabby chic to your kitchen, or make a small gift for someone special.

This design is actually one of a limited edition of six, but each one of the six will be in different colours.

Measurements: 3½ ins/9 cms x 2½ ins/6.3 cms

Price: £3.50 + £1.25 p+p (UK)

Payments: By Paypal or by Postal Order

Please email me for details, or you can bid on my Ebay listing, HERE.
